Dr. Ahuja will discuss current practices and management of tricuspid regurgitation, as well as new emerging technologies.  This will include the anatomy, disease pathology, pathophysiology and management strategies of severe tricuspid regurgitation.

Learning objectives:

  1. Apply clinical guidelines and assessment results about anatomy, prevalence and pathophysiology when establishing the grade of severity of tricuspid regurgitation.
  2. Recognize the association between the severity of tricuspid regurgitation with overall mortality and cardiovascular mortality.
  3. Apply new transcatheter management approaches for severe tricuspid regurgitation.
