Dr. Martin Amor is an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and serves as Director of the Coronary Care Unit and Head of the Cardiogenic Shock Team at Staten Island University Hospital. Board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Critical Care Medicine, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology, Dr. Amor brings extensive expertise in advanced hemodynamics, acute cardiac care, and mechanical circulatory support.

Dr. Amor has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented at national meetings of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), American Heart Association (AHA), and Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). His current research explores cardiogenic shock management, hemodynamic-guided therapy, and artificial intelligence applications in cardiac critical care. Dr. Amor’s dedication to education and excellence has earned him multiple awards, including the ACP NY Chapter Excellence in Education Award and Northwell Health’s Teacher of the Year.
