• Summarize the transition of marijuana from a stigmatized recreational drug to a legitimate medicinal alternative.
• Discuss current conditions for which medical marijuana has general acceptance in the states that permit its use.
• Apply knowledge of  Marijuana delivery systems and their advantages/disadvantages to determine best options for patients.
• Recognize the patient’s perspective regarding medicinal use of marijuana.
• Determine appropriate replacement of  traditional pharmaceuticals with medicinal marijuana
• Recognize legitimate concerns regarding medicinal marijuana use
